We'll move to South Park Tavern around 10:00 pm for open mic night featuring Manny Cavallero, Brandon Hawk, Miranda Pennington and other friends of the circus.

Shirt making - bring a 50/50 cotton/polyester blend shirt, preferably a dark color. Check out pics here! I've got a few extra shirts from the good people at goodwill, too. It takes about five minutes to do and another twenty for it to dry.

As you may know, I'm volunteering on the Creative Region Initiative http://www.soche.org/CreativeRegionInformation.asp
Richard Florida's folks (creativeclass.com) are wondering if there are any artists that would be willing/able to sketch the groups' ideas during the workshop. This will help inspire and communicate ideas during the press conference at 4pm.
So if you're confident in your drawing abilities and would like an opportunity to take part in the workshop, please volunteer! Lunch will be provided.

Creative Region Initiative Press Conference and Open House @ CADC

A press conference will be held on March 6, 4:00pm, at the Cannery Art and Design Center, 434 E Third Street, Dayton. This is an opportunity for the broader public to hear the results of the work among the community Catalysts and Richard Florida’s Creative Class Group. As well, it is an opportunity for the broader community to get involved in an initiative.

The Dayton Mediation Center Presents: Introduction to Facilitation * CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER *

What this training is:
This facilitation training is an overview of facilitation for people who hold meetings frequently. The training will create awareness of the skills a facilitator uses to help meetings flow smoothly as well as when to call a trained facilitator. By this I mean a place to show work without the process of. A gallery for solo shows. Who ever thought that I would find myself throwing a ' cheese block art show' but here we go. I would like for you to join me for the opening of Goloka Gallery (Oregon Division) on Fri. March 7th at 521 5th street. 5 to whenever. Also Opening the same night will Be Mike Elsass' new gallery 'Color of Energy' and Francine Riley's gallery 'Visceral'.

We got a viewing of some interesting rental properties yesterday, and the guy has more to show! He also expressed his interest (several times, actually) in working with us to see that we inhabit his property. It all sounds very promising. I'm very excited to see the inside of 20 Jefferson St. It looks dreamy from the outside!

Let's take a fieldtrip together after our meeting on Saturday!

Monday, March 24, at 6:00 p.m. about 100 people are needed (all ages welcome- no dress
requirement) to help make a film for the Dayton Playhouse’s upcoming production of
Oedipus Cycle: epic stories of destiny, love, betrayal, and self-discovery. The time
commitment is very minimal, maybe 1/2 hour. Taping will take place in front of the Bell
Tower at Carillon Park. Bring anyone you can get your hands on.....even people off
the street! If they do not have enough response, the taping will be rescheduled. If you are

The Oregon Experiment-The Wednesday Night Music Club- Open Mic Night for Bands with Jay (Fab Gear)

1st night April 2nd then every Wed. Night after that.

starts at 9pm

There will be sign ups for solos and small groups that night to play from 9-10:30pm 1st come 1 st serve basis.

Then at 11pm we will have 3 bands ,that are scheduled ahead of time, to play up to a 30 minute set.

Jay will be running sound for each band.

If we like what we hear then we will have you come back for a Saturday Night show , where you can make some money.
