- About Me
I've been a member of Egyptian Breeze bellydance troupe (American cabaret style) since 2001, personally specializing in props such as sword, zills, and fanveils. In 2008, I co-founded Roja, a cutting-edge bellydance fusion troupe based out of Dayton, OH. I've dabbled in other props, such as hoop and poi, and dance styles like Bollywood and Dunyavi Gypsy, and I'm interested in learning more. I'm also a professional henna artist with permanent positions at the Ohio Renaissance Festival and Kira's Oasis. I henna at parties, festivals, and other events as well. I play doumbek (basic Middle Eastern rhythms) and enjoy drumming circles as well. I'm looking forward to learning from this community of artists!
